Hauling leaves
Eventually something has to be done with big leaf piles. Today was Saturday, so that meant it was hauling day. All four of us headed outside this morning to get the party started. Emily & Lincoln "helped" load the leaves in the truck while I manned the leaf blower again. Lincoln also loaded his own truck. :o) It is now 3:30pm, and Austin is working on the seventh and final pick-up load of leaves for the day. Whew!

All caught up now. We picked up two 30 gallon trash cans of walnuts yesterday. A friend let us borrow a "nut wizard" and it was easier on the back than bending over to pick them up! I love my leaf blower/vac!! You have a lot of leaves, gracious!

I think you have us beat on leaves.. we picked up about 17 bags (some paper some plastic).. two loads to the yard waste center, some stored in the garage for compost. They are neat to look at and to play in but also a lot of work to clean up.
