I had to get a new camera because a mysterious black spot appeared on the lens of the old one that I couldn't wipe off. Plus it had started getting really touchy about the battery pack and saying it was dead when it really wasn't. I got another Canon PowerShot because I really like them. I'm experimenting with and learning some of the newer settings. Megapixels matter.
