Hibachi no

Austin was gone, and I had been wanting to take the kids to Sakura Japanese Steakhouse as an extra special treat.  They like fried rice & noodles, and I thought they would enjoy sitting at the hibachi bar.  I was one for two.  The place was almost deserted after church, which turned out to be a good thing.  The kids indeed liked the food (a huge victory!), but they did NOT like the surprise flames when the "cheffer" (as Lincoln called him) lit the grill and did the flaming onion.  There were tears and hysterics.  I doubt either of them will set foot in the doors any time soon.  **Follow-up note: Months later, Lincoln continues to talk about not liking the fire at "Noodles & Ivy".  I have no idea where he came up with that name.**
