Emily is now 15 months old. She is a healthy 32" tall and 25.2 lbs. Her current obsession is with reading books. We probably average 45 min. of book time a day (which is a lot for an active toddler!). It's a wonderful thing until you've just finished your 5th rendition of The Very Hungry Caterpillar in a row and can't think of one more variation of the story. ;o) Needless to say, we took a trip to the library today and extended our normal book limit from 4 to 8.
Some other fun facts: Emily loves to lay on her tummy in the bathtub and kick like a frog. She also says "Bwess" when someone sneezes. She's working on the bottom set of first molars right now. The top ones are through. We had a chance to squeeze in a little outdoor time last weekend in between the Arctic blasts. She now refers to her sled as "Whee!" and asks for her "boots" to be put on. When we pulled her around the block on the sled she said, "Whoa!" the whole time. :o)

We are excited for Asher and Emily to have fun together next weekend, now that they are both very mobile and "talking." I understand about reading the same book over and over....a great problem though, right?! Makes you glad you have such a great library with board books to check out...otherwise I would really go nuts with the same books:) Looking forward to seeing you guys soon!
