Independent play
It's so nice to finally be in the stage where the kids can generally entertain and play by themselves without constant supervision. Today the kids hauled out pretty much everything from the garage and happily played on the lawn and in the dirt for hours while I got some stuff done inside.

Yep, I'm a little behind in my blog reading and I just found this post. Anyway, I could not agree with you more. It is SO wonderful to have kids be able to play outside by themselves. Of course I now have Natalie to chase after but watching Kate and CJ reminds me that Natalie will get there too someday. Enjoy a wee bit more freedom!
