We hung up the birthday countdown wheel today. It is a severe understatement to say Emily is excited about her upcoming birthday. She was even excited that it was the first day of October today and celebrated by wearing her pumpkin shirt. She has already informed us that she is going to wake up at 10:00am on her birthday, so we have to have all the decorations up by 9:00am. She wants a green cake with regular shaped sprinkles (she has recently decided that her new favorite color is green). She says that you get a few presents on your birthday but lots at your party. However, her family party is going to be on her exact birthday this year. I'm not entirely sure if she is expecting a "friend" party, but I'm not planning one. Emily also told us that we don't have to get her a card because she already made one for herself...
