Light switches

Much to her daddy's dismay, Emily has discovered a fun new thing--light switches! She likes to experiment with the ones she can reach by turning them on and off and on and off. If she can't reach one, she tries to find a way to get to it. It didn't take long for her to figure out that an upside-down bin from her bin shelf makes the perfect step stool for her bedroom light at bedtime tonight. So does an emptied, upside-down wastebasket or laundry basket. Therefore, the bin shelf and other items have been removed from her room for the second time in the last week. Here are some other picture examples...

  1. Fun fun! Wendell does that too but luckily after a minue then he's bored with it and moves on to something else. His latest is that he can open the refridgerator and will pull out items at random. He's had numerous time outs and even some light spankings but apparenlty he just can't resist so the other day I pulled out the pack-n-play and was going to use that for a long time out.. but he wanted in it. So I guess it was a win win situation, he was happy and I was happy.

  2. Oh the things they discover!! Asher discovered lately how to open a latched door handle...my days of getting a moment to myself in the bathroom with the door closed are over:(.
